Buchnevich was actually a 47.8% possession player last season with the Rags. Both his linemates were higher without him. My guess is because they were playing mostly with Panarin when he wasn't out there.

How can you possibly make claims about a player's ability to drive play based on comparing the raw corsi numbers of players without any context or adjustments? As I said, numbers can say almost anything you want them to. You haven't put forth much of any real argument why what I said is wrong. You took some out of context raw corsi numbers, compared a bunch of players, and then cited a players hockey reference page.
