Oh, that's good. Throw some Hideous Laughter on the guy leaning against the wall trying to act cool and we have a party

That would be 2 concentration needed with irresistible dance and hideous laughter. So hideous laughter after irresistible dance breaks.

@Soldier13Fox

Another use for mass suggestion (the duration on it is stupid long) is you slip it in during the inspirational speech something like "after we beat the BBG today we all go streaking though the room". Then you get 1st dibs on the BBG loot and a chance to go though your companions gear. It works with a chaotic or evil alignment. It makes for a good backstory as long as the spell is preloaded in a ring (or something) for a low level character offset.

The Bard class is boring to play so you need to really make your own entertainment with them.

Slay the Spire is the GOAT
This.

Also, some of the YouTubers I follow, that check out Indie games, have been playing Goblin Stone quite a bit.

Also Spire of Glory - I've played it a bit. Good way to waste a "few" hours.

I finished Forespoken. There might be some post game stuff to do, but I'm pretty done with the game. The story and the lore were good enough to keep me from quitting.

The world ended up too big for me due the lack of differing/interesting content. I turned it on easy mode for most of the open world stuff because the trash mob fights had turned into a tedious/repetitive slog. The main story stuff fights were decent. I should have just plowed though those instead of wandering around trying to do all the point of interest things (I should have quit on those much sooner).

I got my money's worth out of the game. I wouldn't put it on the "good games" list, but I also wouldn't put it on the "bad games" list. It'll just go collect dust on the games shelf with games I've beat but will probably never play again.

I can't wait for the PC port of Gost of Tshushima to get @Sad People take. I very rarely will replay a game that isn't a Fromsoft or straight action adventure game, but Ghost is an exception. Just a masterpiece IMO.

I look forward to playing it eventually. I wont be playing it on release unfortunately. I very rarely buy games on day 1 of release nowadays just because the gaming industry is pretty ***. I'll wait a few months after its (hopefully) had some updates then give it a whirl. Maybe i wont lol who knows it does look bad*** and since ive never played it i really look forward to it.

EDIT: Just to expand on this i dont even think im going to buy the new Hellblade on release either even if i fully trust and believe in Ninja Theory

Playing Wartales right now which im getting close to beating. Incredible game. Id recommend it to anyone but you gotta like turned based games.

Think im going to play Dredge and Last Epoch after i finish it. Dredge more of a cozy game i will play while listening to podcasts or the NHL/NBA playoffs.

Hades 2 dropped. Man theres a ton of good games being released here shortly or just released.

Just finshed my first play through og Wartales and man thats a true gem of a game. I got like 160+ hours in it after completing every region in it plus the Pirates DLC. End game does drag out a bit because there are so many fights. It seems like from lvl 10+ every encounter has an "enemy reinforcement arriving" mechanic which makes the battles drag out.

Id recommend it to anyone but you gotta enjoy turn based games.

Cool! A gaming thread. Trying to learn OpenTTD (a transport simulation game) and I really like it so far, at first glance a simple game but man there's depth to it. And it's completely free.

I wasn’t expecting Hades 2 quite so soon, just started on Octopath Traveler 2. I only played through the first Hades in the past couple months, fun game, though a lot more button mashing than I usually go for.

I also wasn't tracking hades 2 releasing so soon. One of the few roguelike games I really enjoyed. Mixed feelings on Octopath(both)

I'm still in the middle of Ghost of Tsushima replay. This 2nd time thru is kind of cementing how much I like this game. Slightly below RDR2 and most of Fromsoft games, but it ranks right up there ...

I'm a huge fan of XCOM 2, so I might try Wartales when it's on sale.

Did you play the PC version of GoT yet? If so how is it? Reviews are good which means its atleast a good port. @Soldier13Fox
I havent, generally a console player. From the reviews though sounds like some were having issues at first and just needed to update drivers. I'm still plugging away on the PS5, just got into the final act, and loving this 2nd playthrough. So much so that I may end up trying to platinum it, which would be a first. It's just a ton of fun

I keep looking at Stellar Blade for the ps5. The price point is just a little too high for me to take the chance on it.

Yep, same here. Looks fun but also fairly generic. Once it gets down to $30 or so I'll give it a spin.

I'm thinking $50. I guess there is about 50 hours in the game and NG+. So that's where it meets my arbitrary $1 of entertainment per hour threshold for games.

Ok @Sad People it's time, buy Ghost of Tsushima. I just finished the main story for the 2nd time. I forgot most of the story beats since my first playthrough.. I'm glad I did. Spectacular game, wonderful and intensely personal story. Outside of Fromsoft, Kojima, and RDR2 this ranks up there in my favs. Now I clean up the map and then head into the DLC for the first time.

RIP Kage
