I had concerns after the second round. GSP was busted up and looked to be slowing down but man, what a finish. Once he got the hooks in, I knew it was over.

GSP seems to be punching a lot harder than he was, added muscle mass? He was really good with his jab but he was just not hurting anybody with his right it seemed.

You guys know that Freddie Roach was GSPs boxing coach for this fight right? I was definitely expecting noticeable improvement there for that reason...

GSP vs McGregor is not even fair. It will be good for the fans, good for the pay and good for GSP's wallet. But, are you guys serious? It's like having McGregor going up against Bisping...it doesn't make sense.

Bisping would be a much better matchup for Mcgregor... GSP would totally destroy the guy.

Bisping takes a lot of flack, but very gracious and levelheaded in his responses at the post fight pressor. He's had a great career, really. He's not the most talented guy, but hard worker, and made the most of his opportunities.

GSP looks a lot bigger. Anyone to challenge him in the 185lbs division in the near future? I think he might just win a few more fights and retire a champion.

That fight was just great. GSP showed us the best possible mix of brawns and brains since a long time.

Well, I was wrong. He floored me. Well, no me, really, but Bisping. I'm in awe. (hope he didn't fail any drug test).

GSP vs Conor McGregor. Make it happen Dana.

That would be amazing, I love both fighters but Conor's not really comfortable with wrestlers/ju-jitsu guys. They'd make a shit ton of money though.

From what I read somewhere, Georges is supposed to fight Whitaker, he's next.

I'd rather him give up the belt, drop a weight class and fight Khabib Nurmagomedov...I think that would be an incredible matchup.

And then the winner of that gets a Conor super fight for a billion dollars.

I don't know... while he looked really good for an old man 4 years out of the cage, he still looked diminished athletically. Bisping was a good fight to return in term of not being over-matched athletically. I think Robert Whittaker, the interim champ, is a dangerous fight for him and i hope he doesn't take it. Personally, i think GSP should be taking legend fights: Anderson Silva, Robbie Lawler, Maia. However, GSP being MW champ complicates things.

Whittaker is in line for a title fight and from what I'm hearing today GSP has already verbally agreed to fight him next. A lot of things can happen before that obviously so I wouldn't say it's a done deal by any means at the moment. It all depends on if he really wants to remain at 185 or not. If not then Woodley would be my guess. Conor is just impossible to do unless it's at a 160-ish catch weight, he's made it clear he won't even go up to 170 again, let alone 185. It's a potentially very bad matchup for Conor and I think he's a smart enough businessman to know that so I expect him to look elsewhere.

Why would he fight Khabib? Khabib is at 155 and hasn't won a thing yet.

I really fail to see the logic here.

Me too. I agree he should go back to 170 and fight Woodley to win back his welterweigh belt.

If GSP achieve that , I see him fighting Mcgregor for a huge pay day before retirement.

Khabib doesnt deserve a fight with GSP
