General OT Thread #31: Wild Wish Offense Was As Potent As Fel

So, it took me exactly one week from starting a new job to catching some sort of a stomach bug. Body temp is 34.5 centigrade, I feel quite ill and I'm feeling cold all the time. I hate this.

Going to the doc as soon as I can feel comfortable going somewhere more than 10 minutes away from the loo.

I got vaccinated last week for the insurance moneys. Hope it helps me avoid last winter's never-ending plague. But I suppose that wasn't a flu, because life.

Writing/recording music (so much fun after a few years break) and watching the Wild play. Pretty chill I tell ya. Work starts next week and after the part time job it's time to read like mad for university entrance exams, again. Gotta enjoy the chill moments now.

I had the flu from hell friday and saturday and in to sunday morning. Then last night I started getting a sensation like there was something stuck in my throat, so I went in this morning and I apparently have some kind of upper respiratory infection now. Hooray for antibiotics, prednisone and cough syrup!

This is going to be one ****** week.

And I'm feeling...okay going into my economics test tomorrow. Not particularly good but not as bad as I was feeling this morning.

Anyway, check this out. Mexican announcers freaks out when the United States ties and then beats Panama. If the U.S. won, Mexico has a better chance to get into the World Cup. If the U.S. lost, Mexico is out.

I wish we could bottle some of that guys passion and dump it on LaPanta, make him care about hockey a bit more. Get more animated. Get a gimmick that we could grow to love one day.

I've never once heard inflection in his voice, just volume changes.

Haven't gotten a flu shot since my freshman year of college (2007) and haven't had the flu one time since then. Got it at least once a year while I was getting the shots. In fact, I've only had one or two colds since then as well. Conspiracy?

Last night's episode was much more contained, condensed, and a lot more 'fun' than the last few.

Right now, Sutter only has an agreement/contract for Sons Seasons 6 and 7 with the possibility of a Season 8. We're currently on Season 6.

So we're definitely getting a Season 7, and depending on if Sutter thinks there is going to be a good story to tell, we might get a Season 8. Doesn't seem like it though.

I read that House of Cards will likely end after 2 seasons because Spacey doesn't like the tight schedule. If so, shame.
