Looks like that league does 3 points for a win, 1 points for an OT loss, and 2 points for an OT win. The NHL should do this.

Extraliga does this too. It's why there was an 80+ point difference between Kladno and playoff teams.

I would tweak it a bit and bring ties back as one point to each team, eliminate SOs

That would incentivize going for the win for the extra point, i think....

kinda random but why is scoring through the roof compared to the late 2000’s-early 2010’s?

Obviously when Sid started they had stricter rules around interference, hooking, holding etc but even ten years ago Jamie Benn had the most points with 87. What changed?

Goalie equipment has gotten way smaller and lighter. Sticks have become whippier. Forward talent has improved.
