Providence Bruins General Discussion thread ‘24-‘25 II

Is Charlotte a hybrid of Carolina / Florida players?
Just Florida. Not sure if it would impact their AHL roster at all but hopefully the Panthers win round 1 so we don't have to worry about Charlotte getting any reinforcements (not to mention also rooting for the draft pick we got in the Marchand trade).

EDIT: Forgot to mention Carolina's AHL affiliate is the Chicago Wolves.

I was at game 2 and watched game 3 fully on a stream, Lysell was all over the ice creating plays by himself when the puck just didn’t want to go in all night. He’s very clearly extremely skilled and not afraid of contact either. Goes right after pucks

Lysell could score a hat trick in a 3-2 win for the Calder and Divver would still headline “Baby B’s breakthrough lead by Brown’s truculence.”

Inside the article somewhere;

Honorable mention to Lysell for scoring the game winner

Interesting. Ločmelis after Game 2 is heading to the World Championship.

good for him, the Bruins signed him with this an agreed upon detail. Providence still has plenty to take care of business, as like it or not it is the vets who win playoff games at the AHL level.

Hopefully Providence keeps advancing and Locmelis will be back in time for the middle of the 3rd round

Hopefully Merk comes back to lessen the blow, but agree, this was always the report (that he would step away for the tournament).
