He's an excellent AHL player, I would think all options are on the table
Kind of shameful to realize the players who have played more games for the Boston Bruins than Merk this season.
Tufte - equal
Max Jones - 7 games
Tyler Johnson's corpse - 9 games
Marc McLaughlin - 12 games
Ian Mitchell - 14 games, some without the bald guy coaching
Patrick Brown - 15 games. I'm not even kidding.
Mike Callahan - 16 and a free entry to Bizarro World
Oliver Wahliver - Surely, the next game will turn things around (16 games)
Jordan Osterle - I think Merk might've been better playing 22 games on defense.
Cousin Vinni - On the plus side, the team's draft position has improved greatly during his 24 games
Cole Keopke - I looked on the internet after his 70 games this season and believe Keopke means "caved in" in whatever grunting barbarian language it derives from.
Merk got a raw deal. You'd expect this if a coaching regime changed and opinions on Merk did as well. We've had three different coaches now and seemingly none of them want the Merk.
