I can see Randy suggesting it and Hunter liking the idea. I don't think for a second Randy forced it.

There are talent that get input into how they're used... like the whole Becky returning and turning on Lyra was pitched by Becky after turning down other ideas. Randy will also have input, probably more than most. Since he returned, Randy isn't even remotely trying to hide how much fun he's having, including the Rumble when Hendry was in, Randy's reaction to Joe at the RR is whole reason I thought it could be Hendry. Hasn't he also been vocal about wanting to work with people he hasn't before?

Probably, I'm not saying he'd get 100% of what he wants... I also think he knew that with the KO injury that it was either no match or a blow off... this was the best blowoff possible IMO. Doesn't hurt Joe at all, guy from TNA got caught up in the moment one of the GOATs took advantage.
