callahan! :handclap:

montoya has been steady so far too

switzerland has looked good, strong skating team and tenacious. but the US should start flexing its muscle soon

furrer is the only swiss player i really know since he's a rangers draft pick, but seems to me like he's been noticeable...

wow, Jeff Likens is playing pretty poorly for his second game in a row. His passing and shooting are less than impressive, and he's soft defensively.

I haven't heard Goligoski's name mentioned yet, I take it he's not playing?

That's a big dissapointment for me. I missed the Russia game(games on Christmas...why?!) and was really looking forward to seeing him for the first time.

he's playing. he didn't have a great game last time, and isn't getting much time, tonight.

USA's passing has really picked up...nice accurate passes through the neutral zone to break into the offensive zone

kessel looks good, great speed :handclap: i've decided i want the rangers to draft him

schremp has looked pretty good. a nice shot, as was mentioned, and callahan set him up nicely coming down the slot but the puck got away from him at the last minute (think a defenseman knocked it away)

the US really needs to up their intensity though...the swiss are playing hard and pressuring real well, the US has gotta match that and take over this game

Swiss doing a good job of clogging up the neutral zone. USA having trouble gaining zone. Great penalty kill by the Swiss. Kessel, Callahan and Schremp have had a few moments. Borer took a good penalty to tie up swiss 1-1 break. Montoya looks ready tonight early.

I agree. Kessel looked very impressive in the first. He stood out.

1-0 first intermission, surprised at how well the switz's are playing "D". So far good game.

haven't noticed porter do a lot...heard his name but not in relation to much going on i don't think, but i haven't paid close attention to him

tight game...US needs to seperate itself here to start the 2nd

Any word on Kevin Porter (Phx)? I am at an ECHL game and have the VCR working like a mother for me right now!

Your at a game right now and your posting........ amazing. I havent seen him out there yet..... but I'll keep an eyes out for him.

I'm impressed by Brown and Kessel. I really like the way they're attacking the net. Callahan looks decent, Schremp looks "ok". Bourque seems like he's brought his game tonight.

On the other hand, Stafford looks tentative and shaky with the puck in the o-zone. I'm not sure why he's seeing first unit PP time.

big couple of saves by montoya, one from the slot and one from right on the doorstep...didn't look spectacular but he was right in position to make that save

US has to pick it up...too lacadasical with the puck especially in their own end

USA needs a kick in the you know what, especially there few skill players.

Porter is having a quiet night but so is 80% of the USA team, he hasn't made any glaring mistakes though!

Montoya is looking very good.

Nate Hagemo is impressing, Brian Lee isn't :(

Al is playing great out there so far..... the USA needs to get on track.....

is it just me or is suter not having a good game? :dunno:

he got caught chasing earlier and just blew his coverage and left a guy wide open in front of the net...

i mean he's done some good stuff too but he seems to be making some mistakes i wouldn't have thought of him
