Like I said, your blowing things out of proportion. I havent seen any body slams what so ever and if there were any, they would be called. There letting them play. If your complaining about the Swedes then wait till you play the Canadians :)

Hopefully we get the Russian refs then :P They hate the damn Canadians.

I'm fine with slashes and the occasional boderline hit.

But not bodyslams...
I hate officiating debates, and don't think that this game has been called all that poorly, but, Kessel was definatly body-slammed.

It wasn't a bodyslam.. it was merely the strong Swedish defenceman doing his job; by taking out his man. The player he took down (Kessel) is young and weak compared to these players. I gotta agree with Alex Kovalev... you're blowing it out of proportion, a bit.

Its the only call that's been ridiculously blatant. It was an awful non-call. I can't see how you don't see that, but we'll just have to agree to disagree and be thankful it's a damn good hockey game so far!

I agree... some people see things differently. :)

With that said, there have been a few blatant miss calls for the States too. They are letting them play.

I don't see it, though I have just started noticing his play. St.Louis- you notice him, always.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Paul Kariya. Martin St. Louis is incredibly strong and very flashy, unlike Kessel for the most part. Kariya is more smooth. Kessel's defensive play also more closely matches Kariya's.

Is Salmonsson been double shifting with Eriksson or has the Nilsson-Olsson-Salmonsson line been broken up?

He's definitely got that speed based game and all-out drive to net. He's consistently in the middle of whatever offensive action Team USA musters. He's a least a hybrid of St. Louis and someone else. I'm still trying to pinpoint who. I need to see more, so let's hope Team USA can pull it out.

That line was broken up..its Salmonsson-Nilsson-Eriksson now

And Kessel with another fantastic goal
