Alex Kovalev said:Like I said, your blowing things out of proportion. I havent seen any body slams what so ever and if there were any, they would be called. There letting them play. If your complaining about the Swedes then wait till you play the Canadians![]()
I hate officiating debates, and don't think that this game has been called all that poorly, but, Kessel was definatly body-slammed.Reveille! said:I'm fine with slashes and the occasional boderline hit.
But not bodyslams...

TML said:It wasn't a bodyslam.. it was merely the strong Swedish defenceman doing his job; by taking out his man. The player he took down (Kessel) is young and weak compared to these players. I gotta agree with Alex Kovalev... you're blowing it out of proportion, a bit.
I agree... some people see things differently.Reveille! said:Its the only call that's been ridiculously blatant. It was an awful non-call. I can't see how you don't see that, but we'll just have to agree to disagree

I was thinking about this...I like this comparison more than any other thus far.Mark Fischel said:Looks like Martin St. Louis to me.

I don't see it, though I have just started noticing his play. St.Louis- you notice him, always.Kris Baker said:I was thinking about this...I like this comparison more than any other thus far.

He's definitely got that speed based game and all-out drive to net. He's consistently in the middle of whatever offensive action Team USA musters. He's a least a hybrid of St. Louis and someone else. I'm still trying to pinpoint who. I need to see more, so let's hope Team USA can pull it out.[email protected] said:I don't see it, though I have just started noticing his play.
