A lot of people just pick a team for the game and go with it. Some don't watch football until now, and some just there team didn't make it

I was cheering for the Broncos because I think they're going to win, still do..

However, Avs fans and Leafs fans don't get along too well on HFBoards - so them losing wouldn't ruin my day.

My favorite football team is the Argos. Seeing as they play in the CFL, I will root for an NFL team in the Super Bowl. Kind of like the World Cup Finals...I'm Canadian but will still watch the game a root for a team simply because it's enjoyable to do and I love sports.

I would assume the situation is similar for many others.
