So I finally had a chance to watch his goals.

I mean. Whoa? They were literally effortless snap shots. Almost the same spot. He just snapped the puck at a spot, hit, 2x.

One was bottom right, the other was bottom left. And they weren’t overpowering — just placed ideally.

Pretty pretty pretty cool.

Lindgren's got his groove back :pickle:

and Pro... finally has a shot now too to add to his pretty big toolbox?!
2 straight good games doesn't make Lindgren groovy just yet! He has to keep up his better play of late. Thompson/Lindgren are now closer to being a 1A/1B. I would still like Carbs to do Thompson 2 to Lindgren every 1, ratio.

Big win tonight for many reasons, one of them being they got absolutely zero help on the out of town scoreboard. Flyers, Islanders, Devils, and Penguins all won.
Flyers/Isles I'm not too concerned about as we are 3-0 against those 2 teams. Devils we are 1 point up on and we still have 4 games in hand on them. Pens have been playing better of late, but their goaltending/defense is still the worst in the league, plus we have 3 games in hand on them. Canes are behind us because they have goaltender health issues. Right now it's the Caps Metro to lose, and we are doing it without our best goal scorer.

Pro showing a great release on both goals. First goal, pass from Dibie gets off his stick immediately. OT winner, he waits a beat for Strome’s flash screen and then rips it. He didn’t have that kind of shooting touch last year - some really impressive and important development steps in his game.

I was never a Pro hater but I wasnt a believer either. I thought hed make an NHL paycheck for 6-10 years as a 3rd liner spot duty top 6 guy but I didnt think he'd end up being a solid top 6 like a lot of yall projected .. but hes a legit top 6

Big Pro!

This is me too.

When they signed him to the extension I cocked an eyebrow and mentally said "really? Isn't it kind of too soon for this kind of deal, and what makes them think he'll be enough of an asset to lock him in at that salary for 6 years?"

I guess it's a good thing they have professionals making those decisions.

Personally I hate live threads. It causes posts to appear out of order for me.

Yeah me too. I thought he was ok but he has taken an enormous step forward.

5 x $3.4M is highway robbery for a nearly PPG player who isn't getting PP minutes.

If only we had signed CMM to a 5x3.4m we could have an entire first line locked up for like 15m long term.

Things are looking very good for sure. So good that I'm paranoid that something terrible will happen because this isn't normal, for us at least.
