Get scored on twice early and you start chasing everything, he wasn't tracking or letting the game come to him. Sucks but how Vincent has handled the goaltenders has been stupid since Primeau was sent back down.

People need to pump the breaks on Fowler. He's not a #5 overall pick like Price and he's several years away from being an NHL starter (if he ever becomes one). Goalies with higher pedigree like Wallstedt and Askarov have had to spend a lot of time in the AHL.

My concern with Fowler since he was drafted was he looks smaller than 6'2 in net. When I compare him to 6'3 goalies he looks tiny

The way the goalies were handled certainly didn't help him or Primeau here. A simple win and you keep the net system since the start, with Fowler keeping the net after the shutout and starting it there, would have allowed the hot hand to continuously have the net.

Starting Primeau in game 3 against Cleveland was stupid. Starting Primeau game 1 against Rochester was stupid. Starting Fowler here is stupid.

No it wasn't stupid. Primeau should have been given the net and stayed in unless he faltered.
