Many Canadian fans didn't like Ken because he wasn't French. I read Dryden's book GOALIE many moons ago. Excellent read for hockey fans.

Dryden is one of my favorite figures in hockey just for how unorthodox his career was. You'll never see a guy threaten to end his career to go back and work on his law degree because the team wouldn't pay him enough.

Absolutely dominated his position and then just decided "eh f*** it I'm going to be lawyer now" to lead an incredibly distinguished life off the ice.

I like how he mentions how the media pushes for the Leafs and Habs to have this huge rivalry.

He said the real rivalry was between Boston and Montreal, period.

The Blackhawks, Canadiens, Rangers, and Red Wings have the right idea.

Aside from small tweaks and the Rangers going oddball in the 70s for a few seasons, they’ve basically left their unis untouched for half a century.

B’s never should have changed when they moved to the FleetCenter despite idiot 10 year old me being exited for the change at the time.
