Matthews is essentially playing Barkovs game while hurt. Hes still very effective at what he does.

Yes sure. But it's a long hard haul and that doesn't always happen. And sometimes, against a weaker team, like Ottawa was, it isn't always absolutely necessary. Toronto lost two against Ottawa and won some of those in OT. Florida will be a much tougher challenge, I hope. Of course, this should all be obvious.

I saw enough Florida is a dirty team they hit to send players to hospital its how they wear you down and win. They take no prisoners. Stolarz is toast and someone should check on jarnkrok too I have a feeling hes injured too on that massive hit.

There isn’t enough time for him to be cleared for game 2. There’s multiple steps that he has to clear and each step is 24 hours apart at minimum.
