Canada hasn't been playing poorly per se, but this is the first team who's been playing them positionally well. Finland hasn't made many mistakes other than that shorthanded goal just now. They're technically flawless, but they will eventually succumb to Canada due to the overwhelming talent differential.

Shots were 19-8...

and they were 9-8 at one point. At that point, Canada was fighting the puck in the neutral zone due to the Finnish Left wing lock. The latter part of the period Canada outshot Finland 10-0. They dominated the last part of the period, but didn't play so well in the first part.

Oh come on.. I would say most of those shots weren't quality scoring chances. You were seriously impressed with Canada's effort? The Finns had much more energy and were all over them. At least Canada is winning the face off battle now, but the passes they do get through have to be handled better.
