Fan support wise they would be a great NHL city. Just not enough corporate presence.

Well...they did get outshot by 30.

And lost by a single goal in OT to a team 2x more talented....... good take.

It was a gutsy performance for sure. But they hardly won every battle. They won a shit ton of faceoffs but they also had a ton of luck, too.

Maybe I saw the game thru highly critical Canadian glasses but I was disappointed in so many Canadian players who just didn't compete. Slovakia was incredible.

He was great. Made big saves at big moments

Milic and Bedard was the reasons Canada won. Milic made some tremendous saves to ensure a Canadian win.

The biggest heartbreaks in hockey seem to be vs Canada for us. This is just like the semifinal at the Olympics in Vancouver when Demitra was robbed by Luongo at point blank range. This time it was even closer, because the Canadian goalie made that game winning save for them in OT.

Mcdavid , Bedard and Makar on the ice at the same time. Just imagine.

Seems like a unrealistic dream nowadays, with NHL avoiding the Olympics . Best bet would be at the World Championships and that's very unlikely.
