There’s a reason he dropped.

My colleague’s son played defence for the Generals and told me that he wasn’t particularly intimidated by Wright.

Slafkovsky was a better pick and I said so before the draft while being accosted by Hab fans.

Another bad period for Canada while the Slovaks play smart hockey. Clarke is creative but not very smart, and he needs to be faster to compensate for his mistakes somewhat. Playing 20 seconds without his helmen was pure stupidity. I've liked Wright for the most part in this tournament even if he isn't lighting it up, but he has been useless this game. He looks clueless out there. I've liked Othmann, Stankoven, and surprisingly Allan.

I feel like Dvorsky will become a better player than Wright.

Overall this upcoming draft will probably make look 2022 years draft pretty weak. Depending on how good Jiricek can become because I do believe a lot in him.
Nemec is solid of course.

Been a fantastic game, this is why I love junior hockey. Full throttle intensity from both sides just battling their hearts out.

Reallly a very good game so far. Slovakia has been successful in executing their apparent plan through the two periods. They were counting with Canada getting a bit nervous, as star stacked teams usually are in must-win games in front of their home crowd. They knew that with each minute they manage to keep the game close, their chances are increasing. They have been physical, well skating, trying to keep the game simple in their own zone, but also quite fearless on the forecheck. Nothing is over after the two periods, the game may see some exciting gradation in the third.

Bedard hesitates on his back check and that creates the odd man rush.

Doom and gloom in here is funny though, the Slovaks are in this game because they have the better goaltender and got a good break on their first goal.

There were 3 times Gajan was slashed. Refs did not call a penalty, so you just to react to that and protect your goalie.
