It’s a distinctly Canadian style of hockey.

In your face wave after wave non stop pressure and attack. You know it when you see it. The players can change over the years but that style of hockey we play when we’re at our best is just suffocating pressure.

Eventually the heavy forecheck and physicality leads to the other teams players letting up a bit going in along the walls and our team speed wins the puck battle and sustains pressure.

It all starts with heavy non-stop forecheck and tight gap play all over the ice from every player.
