Tankers in shambles
Play to win boys! Play to win!
Forget the rebuild. Let’s do this!
What exactly are you guys looking for this year? We’re still closer to the bottom of the division than the wild card. Long term squeaking into the playoffs or resigning all the UFA’s hurts this team in my opinion. This roster cannot keep being rewarded for mediocrity

Last night was a great win and I’m very happy Brock finally broke that horrible goal scoring drought. He needed that. Nice for Sorokin to get only his second shut out of the year (ugly stat)

I’m always going to hope for the Islanders to go for it regardless of the state of the team. There’s always a chance however slim and most of the problems on this team was their mindset which Roy is working hard to change by changing their approach to the game. I still believe this team can make a deep playoff drive but they got to get in first. If they squeak into the playoffs and only win a couple of rounds yes it brings us farther from creating that younger faster team everyones talking about but I would rather have the chance to go all the way rather than listening to all the complaints of the Isles are not contending. Short term goals and long term goals. John Maclean needs to get his butt in gear with this power play. They just beat the best team in hockey in a very convincing fashion. Who’s to say that can’t make it far?
