Fortunately we built enough of a lead on 5th to absorb this.

Just back on the horse for the next one and we'll be OK.
We just can't afford to lose four or five in a row. Then things Get a bit sticky. I did think at some point the execution would dip and the injuries would catch up with us. The goaltending was good for so long that also was likely to drop off.

Yeah, praise to the goalies for sustaining it as long as they did.

I think we'll win the next one. Not scared.

It's a rough one, sadly. I hate to rag on Sid but he had a shift that really set the tone for the game. It was really bad.
If a bad 10 seconds by the captain mentally destroys the team, Hextall should just sell everyone and start new.

The team can’t win every game when we play Lafferty, Jank, Sceviour and Erod nightly. The team should be commended for winning so many games prior to the last couple of crappy performances.

EDIT: it’s infuriating that management has failed this team so badly by not bringing in some help for these long term injuries.

The Penguins have spent 80% of game in the Rangers zone. They just pepper Shesterkins chest.

Perhaps the NHL will gift them some commendation points...

It is bizarre. I love Sid and will always. But there is a weird pattern of him starting occasional games either disinterested or just plain bad and it seems like the whole team deflates.
