I retract my claim on Knies. Forwards like him usually end up flourishing at the NCAA level. Might be a good middle 6 guy. Broz might be nice too.

Something people need to remember. You need to draft players that are gonna have an opportunity to dominate their respective junior leagues before coming to Laval/Montreal. No point in drafting a guy with 38 pts in 66 CHL games because he ain't gonna be a top 6 in CHL, much less in the AHL and forget about the NHL.
It's not about stats. Christian Dvorak had 14 pts in 33 games in his draft year. Now he's a 40pt player in the NHL. (and had 109 and 121 pts in his next 2 CHL seasons)

Teams should have less than 5 time outs. That's a possible time out for about 80% of picks.

PS: I heard one of the guy on tv say 5, can't confirm.

Obviously there are exceptions but then again. He had 0.56 PPG in USHL in D-2 and played 3C/4C on an absolutely stacked London team with Domi,Horvat, Tierney and Marner.

since 2017 our 2nd round picks have been:

Brook, Ikonen, Ylonen, Romanov, Struble, Mysak and Tuch.

The only 3 people didn't really like initially were Romanov, Struble and Tuch(though many did like this one).

All of them have shown promise and the only one who's not showing potential was riddled with injuries.
It's still early but all I'm sayiing is people who keep going on about how we just pick bums need to relax

Dumb and Dumber. That’s Bergevin and Timmins during drafts. I hope they are ecstatic keeping their 17 4th round picks.
