Means nothing...So when we have Barzal and all of our Defense and roster we were 3-5-2.

We are not a good team. plain and simple. The sooner we start changing up this roster the better. Do we all as fans want to be a fringe team year after year?
Credit to Sorokin first and foremost for our competitiveness. Honorable mention to Coach Roy. With or without injuries, we’re a middle of the pack team without much upside.

On the related topic of knee jerk assessments with a small sample size, let me float an unpopular take. I’m genuinely excited that George has surprisingly looked like a NHL caliber prospect. But can we hold off on penciling him in the top 4 of our defense? He’s played 3 NHL games ffs.

That to me is the main problem. That is why Lou is still here. Any decent ownership would know Lou has to go and team needs to make wholesale changes. But they are only worried about the oh mighty dollar.
The Islanders are already losing asses in seats, what are you losing by trading them away?

They have gone 3-1-1 since losing Barzal and the entire left side of the D in one night. They blew lead last night but honestly these points are keeping them in this until they start getting key players back. I don’t understand the negativity at this very moment.
If they go 3-1-1 every five games the rest of the way....we will be fine. Does not make losing a lead, again, not something to be concerned about, but....i will take it if i can get it.

Finding a way to blame the fans instead of the team is absolutely wild

We have some expert gaslighters among us

If that's referring to me, you missed the point.

We've gone from 20-page GDTs last season when we also struggled to a fraction of that now. This forum is becoming like MSNBC. The number of GDT posts isn't tanking solely because the team is .500.

I think Sorokin has been good. not great but good. On the other hand and i am sure most wont agree with me here but something needs to shake this roster up. i wish it was something easy to do but i guess you cant fire 90% of your team. It might be time to find a new coach. it looks to me like the same lazy stuff we did last year and at that time i was like well Roy is new to the team lets see what happens. however its the exact same trash

If you are getting some of the similar results with roughly the same players across 3 coaches, then another coach is not going to fix it.

The composition of the roster needs to change. And changing the same fringe guys ain’t gonna do it either.
