How the f*** do you watch the replay and say the foot is in the air??? Was the prick levitating?
The refs pulled the typical grade school method of doing the wrong steps in their math equation, but getting the right answer

The refs reasoning was wrong. His skate was not off before the puck.

However the goal was onsides because Acciari got off of the ice before any Penguin (Rakell was the first) crossed the blueline with both skates

So Roy has every right to be mad as the reason he got is bullshit; but its coincidentally funny that the call is, in fact, right

Palmieri and Nelson are carrying the team offensively, the bottom really would drop out if we sold them.

The fact that this is not an intentional tank like the Sharks are doing makes the situation worse. Our GM is not trying to tank, but actually thought this roster would be competitive. And he probably still doesn't realize the team is closer to lottery territory than playoff wildcard territory

The NHL is comprised of cracked-out dipshits

How the hell was that not called back? The guy was literally standing on the ice in the zone

If the Islanders did that against the Penguins they would end up being given two penalties and Sorokin would be shot
Ok, perhaps I'm the idiot here, but I was heading out of the house when this was going on and I'm listening to the announcers talking about the offside and how it's pretty clear to them, but I kept saying....they have no idea what the rules are, literally no idea....maybe it's me though? They kept pointing at the guy getting off the ice and trying to show his skate was still on the ice when the puck went in......I agree, that's offside, but then he leaves the ice, so he's not the issue at all, it's if anyone else was in before the puck went in and no one was. I think what they were looking at was whether the puck was tipped around the blue line while he was still on the ice....meaning, whether it was tipped over the blue line or not (in the air)....impossible to tell really, but it looked like it was right at the line.

I mean, I agree the roster is shoddy at best, and Lou did a bad job, but this iteration is not a reflection of the team we were supposed to have been icing
