Oh come on, i know we all have blue tinted visors but you are being overdramatic. Majority of these penalties are on us. That happens when you let emotions get the control of you. Now the question is are they able reset and start playing again..
The end of the second looks promising. Härski and Komarov will be key. Physicality instead of fancy stickwork.

I havent seen this bad reffing in a along time.

The goalie interference call was crazy. The maenelaenen cross check was clearly not.

The granlund call was close but if that was against finland I'd want the game misconduct.

Then Finland started taking lots of silly penalties that are real.

I will agree though that these refs are not of high quality.

I woke up at 5am to watch this and it's becoming a joke because of the refereeing. Should have known to go back to bed when they got that goaltender interference penalty wrong even after review. Officiating not on the level it should be. I'll just check highlights later, incompetence can ruin a game

Finns did quit there, it was obvious fail by refs

Hey, everything is better than Vinnerborg.

I always forget the ref names but Gofman's name is almost the only name in international games that has sticked to my head like a glue. I can't believe that the guy is still reffing international games.

These is International refereeing, if you've ever seen a game outside the NHL, you should not be surprised. But to claim there is some bias is just hilarious. Again, you go to the box even if there was no intent or malice, these are rules. Basically most of these penalties were as per the rules of the International hockey and were quite easy for the refs. Finns can only blame themselves.

The game looks interesting though, nice spark from Suomi at the end of the 2nd period, this should not be an easy win for Sweden

Jalonen sorts out the room in the break. Finland will come out re-focused and win back some pride.

We know guys like Manninen, Hartikainen, Pesonen and Aaltonen are more skilled than any of those swedes. Now they will get to play much, much more..

So far this game has been based on decision of the referees. You could argue till the end of the world should Granlund's penalty have been 2 minutes or a match penalty. Should Vatanen's penalty have been a penalty at all? Every reason to justify it either way.

Vinnerborg was one of the best and fairest refs around but when he got a Finland game he showed his colours clearly. It was embarrassing when one knew his level.

Hard to say if there is middle all that lottery going on

Sweden is better today, even without overpowering games it would be much closer to winning. I don't know Finland like that, maybe Jalonen should have taken TO and calmed his players. Usually the opposite is the case that the Finns get under the skin of the Swedes, today it is the opposite. I don't understand Vatanen, he cuts him when there are two referees a meter away from him ... the third goal was very lucky, the puck after the shot of the defender Olkinuora went to Everberg, he then had it easy. Great bad luck for Finland.

5+ for Granlund..If it was the other way around and Holm hit Granludn this way, I would have no problem with punishment.

Some refs just stick to international play no matter what. It's some good buddy circle or sauna buddies.

I do admit that Finland deserved a lot of penalties, because Finland played far dirtier, no question about that but that 2+2 looked more like just a 2. I guess that they can't call back that cross check by a Swede to the back and pushing on the goalie. Something went wrong with that call. Either a penalty for both or no penalty. After the video review they had to give something and couldn't erase it I guess.

Vatanen is nothing to discuss really. It should just be a pen for how incredibly stupid of an action that is. To do that right in front of the ref after the whistle is blown… You got to be able to have some kind of basic emotional control, the Swedes cant get under the skin so easily.

Yeah i mean i absolutely agree that there's no bias, why would there be.

Good game for us and highly effective PP. But we wouldn’t be here without the horrible refs.

I shouldn’t complain since we are leading the game, but goes around comes around and we will get our fair share of horrendous reffing later on when the games actually mean something.

I agree it was stupid. Stupid to even give a chance for the penalty, when your team has already taken one million penaties.
