With a 3-0 lead you continue to attack dammit! Why give the other team unlimited shots on Sorokin? Lambert?

No Pelech and there was plenty of positives in this game
Aho and Romanov played well
2 rare deflections against
Holmstrom continued his better play
Dobson was again a force
Barzal bounced back big

That shot in OT has to be stopped. There was no screen. Weird angle, these are the kinds of plays a vezina goalie should be stopping. When is the last time Sorokin gave up less than 4 goals in a game? I am pretty sure he has allowed 4-5 goals in 4 of his last 5 starts.
It is time to give Varly some starts, at least until he loses.

But they should have never even been in OT is the biggest issue.

Plenty of positives. I think it's a good team, one that's getting better.

The positives ended once the score was 3-0 and the coach went into prevent. Again.

I'd like to think so, but I just don't know how you can watch that game, on top of a few others recently. Their wins have come against non-playoff teams and been outplayed in almost every game. It's only 10 games in and if you don't think this is all going to catch up with them over the long haul then not sure what to say.

The teams isn't fast enough, talented enough, nor coached well enough. They are NOT a Cup contender with basically no way to fix what is needed so feels like they're just slowly bleeding into a lottery team.

Two good things to follow up with

ABC has a heck of a Washington-uSC game tied at 42 start of the 4th and Colorado-Vegas on ESPN+

The team has turned over a lot of the roster in two seasons
They are learning to play this approach together
Horvat, Holmstrom, Dobson was just getting started, Fasching, Engvall, Aho just getting in, Romanov
They’ll get it just like it was in Barry’s first year they lost to Carolina in round one.
Just be patient, we’re on a 105 point pace, I don’t care who it is against
Carolina played San Jose twice already
