Even that prices feels high to me. OEL made Myers look good last year, this season OEL has fallen off a cliff and can no longer carry him. Maybe in limited mins on Toronto with a guy like Gio you’d see on ice value with Myers at a 3m hit this year and next. I don’t know.

When you consider Schenn might move and the cost is probably a single 2nd to get him and his contract is peanuts that a lesser cost cap wise and asset wise for a safer player. I really think Toronto should avoid Myers.

Myers does nothing for the Leafs. Hes a terrible defenseman on a pretty bad deal. I'd rather Luke Schenn at this point.

He was very good playing tough minutes last year. Overpaid by a million but the hate he gets is because Benning signed him as silly as that sounds. He's a good #4 who can eat 25 mins a night while playing with an edge and like every other guy who's a #4 he's not perfect but man the hate he gets is way over the top.
