Finally made my way through my backlog to God Of War. I’ve only played a few hours but I’m liking it so far. The camera can be a little iffy at times and I feel like Kratos is a bit of a tool towards his child, but everything else is on point. It’s also one of those few games that makes you glad to have a Pro given the visual upgrades.

Just started this one too for the same reasons. I really like the pacing, it just kind of throws you in and there is no real tutorial grind or slow start problems.

Valiant Hearts on the Switch.

Good narrative, has some good funky moments, and certainly interesting as I'm a WWI buff, but not really sure I'd recommend it to others.

I was debating on getting both of those. I finished Forager last week and it was pretty fun. Don't know if I should go for Graveyard Keeper or Stardew.

Stardew is more playable and draws you in more I'd say, but if you don't want cutesy, go with Graveyard Keeper.

just started Horizon Zero Dawn...not as great as i was expecting from the reviews ...the camera and movement is a bit wonky but overall its getting better as I have learned the "guns a blazin'" approach doesn't work too well.. lol

Just beat God of War for ps4 after having it since release day and getting distracted by other things. What a game, can’t believe it took me this long but the story and gameplay were top notch

Started playing Horizon: Zero Dawn again after long lay-off and some things I really hate about this game. One, you have to do side quests to get to a high enough level to proceed in the campaign (major turn-off AF). Two, the night time mode is so terrible as it's so hard to see anything in the game.

There are other issues where there are too many watchers and the combat isn't that good. However, the story is still extremely deep and the map is fantastic to explore.

ive played all 3 and got well over 100 hrs in all o them but Stradew im well over 500

Currently found ARK 3 yrs late from my cousins recommendation and am hooked.

About 4-5 hours into the Division 2. Purchased it when it was on sale for 3.99$ I kind of knew what to expect as I played Wildlands quite a bit. Pretty much the same format in terms of clearing zones etc but in a city and you can play with other people.

I am at level 19 and the novelty is starting to wear off a bit. Overall a decent game for 3.99$ 6.5/10

Yeah, I picked that up when it was deeply discounted as well. When you hit 30 the map becomes more hostile, and you unlock specializations so it feels like there is more things to work towards. I'm not huge into PvP as I have really lost my touch for shooters over the years but I enjoy the PvE grind. If you don't enjoy the grind you will probably lose interest in it pretty quick at max level though. All in all it was well worth the $3 to shit talk with some friends and blow off some steam during this whole live like a hermit situation going on.

Besides the Division 2 I have been playing a lot of other games. State of Decay 2 has been fun, I started Gears 5, and Ace Combat 7 just hit game pass.

Picked up a used Complete Edition copy for 14.00 bucks and have about 5 hours in. So far loving the story but I agree with you on the combat so far. Hoping to plough through the story before FFVII Remake comes out.

So, I switched difficultly from normal to easy and it makes the game much more relaxed. I prefer a challenge, but I am in the same boat where I am trying to play something until FFVII is released. Also when you get to the point that there are corrupted zones you have to clear and it recommends a level, if you're playing it on easy you should have no problem clearing them even though you're below a couple or so levels. For example, I just arrived at Meridian (will stop there to avoid spoilers) and had to clear two zones which say level 15. However, you can clear them at level 12/13 with no problem.

I hear the game is very long though, I am not sure if they counted the DLC, but we're looking at at least 30 hours if focus strictly on the main storyline. I am not entirely against that, but I do want to find all the metal flowers and want to figure out what happened in the ancient ruins.

Star Traders:Frontiers.

On Mobile.

Never played Frontiers but I can't tell you how much time I've burned on Star Traders: RPG. And I'm someone that never pays for games or plays games on my phone. I originally got a free version and was so addicted that I ponied up for the paid version. I still play it all the time years later. Sad it never got more popular, the Trese Brothers seem awesome.

I'll have to check out Frontiers now.

So a lot of people are playing Animal Crossing right now. What exactly is it? I have only heard of it recently.
Right now I have been playing NHL 20 ( of course ), and i am thinking about getting MLB The Show 20. I said before its release that i wouldnt get it because it probably just like the last couple games.
But someone said it's a lot better. Then May i will be getting The Last of Us Part II. And Cyberpunk 2077 and NHL 21 ( if there even is one but i am pretty sure they will make one right? )

Played Doom Eternal at launch. Great game but Bethesda made being really really cheap on ammo drops a huge part of the game.

Frontiers was originally released on the PC and then ported to Mobile. Apparently both versions work great. I'm playing on a tablet and it just feels like it was made for a tablet. I wouldn't play on a cell phone, however.

There's about 2000 reviews on Steam, so I'd wager they aren't doing bad.

I started playing Slay the Spire (only made it to the 2nd boss so far) - it's fun with an interesting gameplay loop, but the art style reminds me of Flash browser games.

Also just started South Park: TFBW. Only played it for an hour or so yesterday but it seems like a fun turn-based RPG. I really enjoyed The Stick of Truth, so it'll be interesting to see how this one compares.

Working my way through my Switch backlog. I still haven't really touched Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Civilization VI, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Into the Breach, Downwell, or Dark Souls Remastered (I made it about 2/3 of the way on the original, but I still really want to beat it at some point).

Might pick up Animal Crossing to see what all the hype is about, never played an AC game before.

Just be GoW and it was absolutely amazing. Going to start either Fire Emblem or Days Gone now.

Any suggestions?

I'm enjoying Doom Eternal although it feels like a step back from 2016 Doom. The lack of ammo is mainly an issue early. After you unlock like 3-4 guns, you only run out of ammo like once or twice a level. My bigger gripe is that the game feels more linear and the invisible walls seem like they're everywhere. So many times I try jumping somewhere to explore and I'm blocked by an invisible wall. It's maddening for a game with so many secrets to find.

Even those complaints though, the game's still a ton of fun. If you liked the last Doom, you'll surely like this one too.
