Games Tonight Affecting Sens

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Do we actually want to play Toronto in the first round? Having our first home playoff game in 8 years be full of Leafs fans and potentially going 0-5 all time doesn’t sound very fun.

If it’s either Toronto or Washington, I’d rather face Washington and the weaker Metro division.

I just want them to make the damn playoffs and then I don't care as long as we don't get swept :D

Leafs are supposed to win. They are the better team and with much more experience. Sens are just there to gain experience and see what happens.

We lose so what. They lose, city of Toronto gets trashed.

Just buy playoff tickets as soon as they are released. I'll be buying a bunch for me and my buddies at the first availability.

Shouldn't be that difficult. If 8 years of no playoffs isn't enough incentive to gobble up tickets and for season seat holders not to resell then this market has bigger issues.

If the senators make the playoffs... they should allow for locals pre purchase of tickets

Yes. Might as well make the playoffs and get rid of that jinx team all in one swoop.

Things are looking pretty good! What would it take for Ottawa not to face Toronto in the first round?

This is the matchup probability. We are over 30% on Toronto or Florida, 23% for Tampa, and a small 10% chance for Washington.

This was accurate as of yesterday.

Here is how I see it going down:

Ottawa-Toronto - Ottawa in 6
Ottawa-Washington - Ottawa in 7
Ottawa-Florida - Ottawa in 6
Ottawa-Edmonton - Playoffs Cancelled Due To Bird Flu Outbreak (No Cup Awarded)

Sens have to take care of business vs an opponent that is dying to beat them. Sens have to be better in their end and not take penalties exposing their PK.
Habs have the easier opponent but they could get some inspiration from a coaching change... I expect the Habs to win.
