Games Tonight Affecting Sens

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
The game against the Habs is rated a 6/100 in terms of importance. I think the game against the Red Wings last week was a 13/100 for context. The swing will be about 4% in terms of our playoff chances. 2% higher if we win, 2% lower if we lose. It's a bigger factor for the 3rd divisional spot (because we need to win 11-12/16 to get the third divisional spot), but even that will only be a 6% swing.

Don’t think the Habs will make it, not good enough. And tbh I wouldn’t even call the Habs Sens game tomorrow a must win, don’t think they’d be the ones taking Ottawa’s playoff spot, they’d take NYR.

.500 hockey gets us 93 points, which is very likely more than enough. The teams been playing well above .600 hockey the last 3.5 months, are a really well built team, and have improved the team at the deadline. We also have one of the easiest remaining schedules and play a ton of home games in April. Moneypuck has us at a 97.1% chance to make it.

I’m getting pretty confident that the Sens will finally make the playoffs this season and don’t think the game is a must win but also don’t want to be 0-3 vs them this season. Also don’t want them to make the playoffs, hoping the Jackets make them. They were in the finals not long ago so I want their rebuild to trail behind.

Also, if they miss the playoffs and we play the Leafs, it would be satisfying to see some of my friends take for the Sens lol

In fairness he was only replying to my complaints about them.

And I end up doing the same for a lot of the teams I know enough about. I also talked about the Wings and the Wild today.

Getting trolled is annoying but I guess it is now permitted on this site when it’s actually against the rules. And frankly, trolls are like 12 mentally so…

if tampa and toronto can lose tonight that would be great

if columbus decides to lose too that would be a bonus
Was thinking the same thing.

Flames vs Leafs
TBL vs. Flyers
Jackets vs. Devils.

Go Flames, Flyers & CBJ Go. Let’s see what the results are.

I feel like I'm being trolled by a Habs fan posting Habs fun facts and stats constantly on the Sens forum.

We need to win now to give us the ability to sit Tkachuk/Jensen/others down the stretch so we would go into the playoffs healthy.
