My favourite Senators experience is (most likely) when we beat them down in the playoffs many years ago.

Beautiful day with lots of tailgating - even the security staff were cool and would just remind us to put our drinks in plastic cups - then into the arena, leading to one of the most embarrassing losses in the Habs storied history.

Smoked on the scoreboard, pummeled in a 5v5 brawl and the glorious emergence of, "PageauUUUUU!! Pageau! Pageau! PageaUUUUU"

To this day I stand by the fact my buddies and I started that chant.

I was at that game, only playoff game I've ever attended.

Ottawa still have better “Odds” at making the playoffs than the other teams in the running

Yup
At least Columbus cannot steal our 2nd wildcard spot until the 4N break
Things are crazy tight and the Sens are playing with a very depleted lineup against tough, seasoned teams that have better , deeper rosters.

Norris goes down... maybe survive with Ullmark coming back; Pinto goes down , Ullmark starts , plays well and loses; 4sberg starts , no Pinto no Norris, loss.

Today .. no Jensen or Pinto at practice against the Cup champs who are hard to beat in the best of times. Not impossible but I would not bet on them.

3-1 now < 8 minutes to go in the 1st
SOG TBL 6 , Det 5

Oddly Vasilevskiy starts all 3 games (Ottawa x 2 , Detroit x1)

Now 4-1 with 4:47 to go in the 1st 4 goals on 7 shots on 2 goaltenders

4-2 PPG 2:32 to go... High event hockey in the 1st

We started the resurgence of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Game is not over yet, but they're rolling.
