Sens have 2 tough games with their depleted lineup ahead of the break.

A win is doubtful imo. It will take a steal from Ullmark
If we can get a game to overtime we may scratch one out.

Before the break
These teams could catch the Sens in pts
Lightning play Sens tomorrow, Followed by Wings on the 8th and Habs on the 9th ; 2 pts back
Wings only have 1 game vs the Lightning; 1pt back
Bruins play NYR tonight , Knights on the 8th ; 2pts back
CBJ play Utah tomorrow, Rangers on the 8th; 3 pts back

If the Sens can be healthy coming out of the break .. they will remain in the thick of it and can battle to stay in but 3rd place will be tough to hang on to

We managed to keep it within one with this depleted lineup on the tail end of a back to back with travel and losing Pinto after less than three mins of play, so while I'd agree the odds aren't in our favour, i do think we had some stretches where we controlled the play and could surprise tomorrow.

Fla will be a tougher challenge though, I'm less confident about that one.

I want the Battle of Ontario to happen this year so badly. How amazing for hockey would that be to revive one of the best rivalries of the past 30 years? It would be a fantastic series.

Pretty exciting that it's looking like the most likely matchup so far. They just got to stick with it and keep winning games.

This would be the year to do it. Once the Sens make the playoffs, their big goal for the season is more or less done.

They're supposed to be the loser in any round one matchup. The Leafs are long overdue for any sort of playoff success, have a much more experienced group, and have all the pressure behind them to do something. Losing to them really wouldn't change much. But if we win, then that's really going to break some brains across the country.

I think the Wings will make it in. Their PP efficiency alone is insane.
I don't think they will, they don't have the goaltending, and their PP will cool down. And they have toughest strength of schedule remaining.

Rangers winning helps. Hopefully LA doesn't choke tonight.

Strength of schedule means jack shit imo.... You are your own worst enemy in this league. With Pinto and Norris out. Stutzle can't be producing like a borderline superstar anymore. He needs to be making headlines every night until those guys get back for the sens to stay alive.
