Dallas 2 - Columbus 2 in 2nd
Florida 2 v NYI 1 in 2nd
NYR 1 Vegas 1 in 2nd

It's not that tight anymore...

As long as Ottawa, Columbus and Tampa keep playing well and get the wins, they are distancing themselves as of now.

Sabres, Flyers and Penguins are out, all below 0.500%

Rangers and Habs at 0.510%, both teams have too many shortcomings at the moment. I'd place the Bruins in that grouping

It seems that NYI and the Red Wings are the real threats. I know it has changed a lot during January lol but the Islanders have Sorokin and the Red Wings have been much better since their coaching change. They have some young talent rising too (Kasper and Edvinsson mainly)

Our direct competition seems to be Tampa and Detroit. There's also the Leafs, hopefully they lose a few games and give us the opportunity to get ahead

Red Wings have been better but not nearly as good as their record indicates. They've been outplayed by every single playoff caliber team they faced since the coaching change and yet has won multiple of those games usually due to a combination of 3 of the 4:

- Excellent goaltending
- Red hot PP
- Lucky bounces
- Opponent goalies being sieves.

Dallas 5 - Columbus 3 FINAL

Florida 6 - NYI 3 FINAL

NYR 4 Vegas 2 FINAL

Just finished watching the Jackets vs. Stars.

Stars did us a solid tonight defeating the Jackets. Dadonov with 2 goals including the winner.

Stars have one the best management teams in the league.

Montreal building a soft team and it’s showing when it matters most here in the grind - Laine, Dach, Slafcocky all very light players
Oh I like this game.
Two softest teams in the league right now:

They have the toughest schedule remaining going forward at least

Montreal is falling off, they'd have to jump 5 teams now to squeak in WC2. Still possible but trade deadline is approaching quickly
