If we can find a way to sit Ullmark out of the 4 Nations, then we will have a huge benefit in rest compared to most of the teams we are chasing, with only Brady in the tournament.

Look at how many players Toronto(4), Tampa(5), Florida(8), Boston(4) will have in this tournament, while our guys get 2 weeks off to rest up.

I think two extra weeks of hockey for their stars will help us later in the season.
Ullmark has had a lot of time off. Maybe extra reps at the 4 nations will be good

Ullmark has missed so much hockey that I won’t stand in his way to represent his country and play some high intensity hockey, provided he is fully healthy.

He probably won’t play, Markstrom will likely be the starter.

Nah better to have practice with less risk and more control given risk/reward. Brady should also stay home and practice hard. Nobody will remember the 4 nations tournament, probably the most meaningless tournament ever involving nhl players
It won't be meaningless, because some team is going to get Hasek'd by the tournament.

If the Pens can lose to LA and Canes lose to Chicago it would make my night :)
Canes aren't really a concern for us, they are pretty locked into a div spot. Doesn't hurt for them to lose I guess, still lots of season left and I guess CLB or NYR could pass them, but they are super low on the list of teams I'm worried about, just a slight notch above western Conference teams.
