Watching Oettinger is legitimately fun. I still say he’s going to end up this generation’s best goalie when it’s all said and done.

We just require too many good looks to score relative to most other teams. That's the team's #1 weakness.
We don’t take away the goalie’s eyes, get him moving (because Sullivan preaches north-south only, not East-west) or make life hard for him in front of the net…mostly why we don’t score

Just get Sullivan out of here…I put a lot of blame on him for the lack of scoring…

The ones we have our old, so I would not expect a Pastrnak to be walking in here unless we draft him…5 years at least lol
What…you don’t use a couple of softish pipsqueaks as your net front guys on the power play? Are you insane?

DAL is sort of like Lightning a couple years ago. Big, strong, pretty well structured, and when they aren't controlling play the G shuts it all down. Pretty impressive squad, amazing the Kraken took 'em to 7 games last year.
I may put a decent sized bet on them to win it all this year. Best Forward depth in the league imo. Just a slow start from a few guys, but they'll get going.

It's a one goal game against one of the best overall teams in the league, a potential Vezina contender in net, and one of the stingier defensive teams in the NHL.

Are there frustrating aspects, including the lack of traffic in front of the net? Absolutely. But it's been pretty even overall.

It'd be cool if this organization wasn't so averse to having a specialist. Gimme a dude who can snipe a puck, even if he sucks defensively. Wannabe swiss army knife dorks have been a plague on the Pens for an annoyingly long time.

Watching MMA for the last like 7 years has both desensitized me to seeing guys get knocked out and made me realize the consequences of it.

People talking about making sure he's not dead from that? Ok, settle down. I've seen a guy run across the cage, flying knee a guy in the face, and then punch him multiple times when he was clearly unconscious on the ground. That guy (eventually) sat up and walked out of the cage.

On the other side, "I hope he's OK", he's definitely not OK. Getting knocked out is not OK. Obviously a fighter is different because they are going to get hit in the head again even during training, but a fighter would be out for minimum 3 months after getting knocked out. Most should probably take more like 6+ months. I would be surprised if they let Ludvig play again before 2024.
You are very wrong. Guys get KOd sparring quite a bit inboth MMA and boxing. It doesn't happen with a good partner but you are clueless on that comment.

Hell I got KOd sparring by a professional boxer and was back out in the ring in 2 months and that's only because that's when my fight was. I was back to sparing that night.

Where is this 3 month 6 month window coming from

you are not getting it, we praised them in the first they were winning, but after that it looked like last 3-4 years, just overwhelming feeling of shit will happen, and things won;t go their way, the frustration creeps up and there is no one person there to do something to turn the tide...hope I am wrong

First, you're really calling me "very wrong" over a month difference?

Second, 3 months between fights. They are back training before their next fight.

Third, sparring the same day you get KO'ed is very, very stupid.
