Yah, they also need sub 7 minutes of ice time and a public dressing down. Don’t you know anything about developing players Willy?
with sully winning the challengeCrosby with the assist (1600) on a Malkin PP goal (500).
It shall be done.
No WBS game since Sunday until Friday. I’m curious if they send him down for that.It is hilarious that we are scratching our top tier prospect and not sending him to the AHL…
So entirely predictable.

Stats hating is just former terrible high school math students coping.Stats are just astrology for math nerds.
Yeah, I'd rather have him skate a bit more with the NHL guys since WBS isn't in action. No WBS game since Sunday until Friday. I’m curious if they send him down for that.
Stats only matter when they help my argument. If they do not, they are to be ignored as misinformation and conspiracy.Stats are just astrology for math nerds.
They don't play till the weekend, so well see.It is hilarious that we are scratching our top tier prospect and not sending him to the AHL…

You realize you jinxed it and both guys are going to be sitting on 499 and 1599, respectively, for the next couple of weeks.Well, Yinz should go if they can. Malkin is getting goal #500 and Sid point # 1600.

This is my beef with how Sullivan handles all youngsters, not just McGroarty. Why not try McGroarty next to Sid? Maybe he's not ready for it, and maybe you have to eventually send him to the AHL. But why not TRY it?I don't think this should be an unheard of take at all. If Groat was good enough to make the roster as one of their best forwards he should be eligible to be moved up at least on a trial basis to have a look. That's what like... coaching and development is. Groat profiles as a hopeful top six player, The top line needs work anyway and he'd be skating next to Sid flippin' Crosby. I don't think the whole season would blow up in the team's face if that were a thing for a game or two.
Regardless they need to do something with Groats. This is a waste. A predictable waste but a waste.

Sullivan has no issue gifting try out spots on Sid's wing to various veterans whether they deserved it or not. So why not give your NUMBER ONE OFFENSIVE PROSPECT a handful of games with that cushy gig just to see what he can do with it?
Is McGroarty truly ready though? This is my beef with how Sullivan handles all youngsters, not just McGroarty. Why not try McGroarty next to Sid? Maybe he's not ready for it, and maybe you have to eventually send him to the AHL. But why not TRY it?

If DOC is your 1LW when healthy, why would he not be your 1LW now?Beauvillier with 2 goals gives him rope here for a while, but I expect that to cool off and send him to the 4th or a healthy scratch eventually, around the time Lizotte comes back. Then you probably have something like this:
DOC - Crosby - Rust
Bunting - Malkin - Rakell
Hayes - Eller - Puljujarvi
Lizotte - Glass - Acciari
Beauvillier, Puustinen.
Fkn hate this team and usage of younger players. Also. give it 5 mins and the trade theread is bumped and well get mocked about losing the trade.
They could simply give him more than 10min a night and put him on PP2 in the NHLThere's just no reason to keep him up playing 10 minutes a night with no special teams work. That's not the way to develop a player.
