Ok watching the replay it was not that easy but good lord...

On the other hand, Russia has looked exactly how I expected them to look. Some good players, some bad players. All their opponents will have chances, this team isn't dominating anyone.

Swiss throwback to Sochi 2014, where like every game they played finished 1-0 or 0-1

Yeah we should have gotten a point at least but overall an encouraging start to the tournament. Sure Berra kept us in the game but it is good to know he is on that level. We had enough chances for a goal and still everything is possible for us.

Tough loss for Switzerland. Great game to watch however and i can only hope we have more in store!

I'd expect a team wearing Florida Panthers jerseys to score more goals, like 6 or 7

the expected lack of scoring at least they created opportunities, hope malgin gets released from covid protocol we need anybody who can score, but all in all it wasn't that bad of an opening game

Fischer should have taken more risk and pulled Berra earlier. Lack of finishing skills outside of Hofmann and Andrighetto are obvious. At least Berra looked good; he should be the number one goaltender for the rest of the tournament.

Not a bad match all in all, lazy first period, very good second period and ok third even though they looked gassed at times.
Berra very solid, he's always been doing the big saves, but this time he was also very calm and focused, that's a good sign.
Big match by Bertschy, as usual. I expect more from Hofmann, he has to be the star of this team. Defense pretty solid, a couple of shaky moment from Loeffel/Weber (if I remember correct) but all in all pretty ok.
We need the goals.

It's just me, I like the penalty review with video. They want to get it right.

Russia got lucky on the fluke goal and Herzog's miss, but overall, it's a better start than four years ago when they lost the first game.
