Olympics: game thread - China vs USA

I expect USA to do really well against China, that's one game their roster construction might actually benefit them.

Ok thanks. I looked on the official website and it has an NBC icon next to it, not USA.

Well, the worst team in the KHL against some top NCAA players supported by some solid Euro-league players (among them a PPG player in the KHL). Don't think you can really make some kind of NCAA vs KHL comparisons based on this.

Strangest things have happened before, you just never know.
 
China looking more complete than I assumed they would.

Canada already up 1-0 on Germany in the other game on now.
 
The announcers are like "for 32nd in iihf rankings china looks even." But they're using American and Canadian players that play for the second best league in the world lol
