Something else happened in the Blues game -- the Habs PP produced two goals. We don't know if that's a one-off, but we did see from a recent Athletic article that Marty has taken over PP duties from Burrows.
Several had been wondering how and why Burrows was able to continue in his role as PP coach, given his lack of success both with the Rocket and on his 2nd year as Habs PP coach. Maybe this was the clue we missed ...

I get how Marty tries to put some players in a position to unblock and recover past success but maybe, just maybe, it's a lost cause for certain players.
