I'm not sure about his scoring touch to be honest but I don't think that's why they got him anyway. They want playoff type guys. He fits that mold.

I think the Leafs PP pots a couple tonight.

Too much talent to be shitting the bed like this. They're just trying too hard and overthinking it. Once the PP starts to click, and it will, look out.

Lilly along with Robertson were called up yesterday according to Leafs PR account. However Cap Friendly doesn't have Lilly as an official call up. Strange.
Plus Alter had Lilly in the morning skate yesterday,

Their quarantine is like anyone else’s. Stuck in a suite where they can’t leave.

Now it’s the Leafs. Chances are they got a stationary bike in there and some weights for him to stay active with. But he can’t go to a full blown gym or go skate during these 7 days.

They are stuck in a hotel room.


Leafs just have the luxury of making it a big one, and stocking it with stuff the player can use.

Hoping Lilly is in and kills it. Giving Holl and Bogo even a couple game off could definitely pay off down the run.

I don't think Keefe has the balls to rest Holl or Bogo for fear of potentially insulting them, but hopefully Liljegren gets in a game soon enough and actually be used properly aka quarterbacking one of the PP units

Sewage ... I knew it was bad but yikes, the guy had 9 pts in his first 9 games or something like that. That rib injury really derailed a solid start for sure
 
I had a dream last night that Jack and Dave were injured and joined Fred just before the playoffs, leaving us no option but to start Hutch , with Woll as his backup .... I have to stop partaking in the Herb , I have to !

Like I said, Alter said Liljegren was in the morning skate yesterday so he has to be there. If not and they play Marincin, :facepalm:

Both Holl and Bogo need time off, or at the very least some reduced workload. Holl has played some of the worst hockey of his career the past couple games, extremely complacent. Bogosian is showing mental fatigue and making some questionable decisions lately.

If they still refuse to put Liljegren in post-TDL, it's a mismanaged season in terms of development. Run Muzzin-Liljegren or Dermott-Liljegren so that if injuries pop-up, you have a RHD that isn't coming in completely cold with no chemistry. Muzzin would be better for his development, but there's experience/chemistry with Dermott, so either is fine, just get him in.

OT vis a vis numbers. The most worn numbers in Leaf history are 16 and 25. 48 players each. 25 seems to have a weird history. Only 1 player has ever worn it longer than 4 years (Terry Martin, 80-84). Lot of one-and-dones. Like either one year contracts, rooks with no other choice or "I'll take it, but I want X when it becomes available." Strange. Maybe it's CURSED!

Liljegren isn't even on taxi even though Leafs PR said he was assigned there yesterday. Alter said he was at the morning skate yesterday too. I don't get it.
