Crazy amount of parity in this league. That combined with aging core is gonna make this an interesting season.

I’m just enjoying watching EK. This team would have been hilarious to watch if he was here when we were still contending.

Nobody is stopping us if we had Karlsson back in the day.

It’s only been 4 games, but the bottom six has zero goals. So, yeah…

This shouldn't come as a surprise, this was very predictable if you looked at this roster. I've been moaning about it for years now. Different players, but the same ineptitude. Not surprising, but exceedingly frustrating.

The positive is that Dubas seems to know the bottom 6 is dog poo based on his 1st intermission interview where he said he has to take the blame for it.

The negative is we have 0 cap space and approximately 2 and a half assets of any value to trade

Just rotate the Wilkes guys in. See if any work.
Stop playing Carter, for God's sake.

The problem with that is all the guys they signed and were waived…we already know they suck based on years of them attempting to not suck in the NHL.

You could try a guy like Poulin or, god forbid, anyone else under the age of 27 but we know that won’t happen so it’s not worth discussing.

Geno 4 goals against, this is how he kills his stats every single season,
anyway: good showing in the third, their goalie was really good made some tough saves...Jarry did not and that was about the difference
EK is our est player and they should build this team around him, he did not cross the blue line until the third..
I thought just a slight swap between Harkins and Nieto made both lines look a little bit better, need to mix up until somekind of chemistry or good things show up

lol…next game should certainly be better because the Blues aren’t as fast, but this team won’t do shit in the East…

also, he says they’ll fix it all the time but they never do…it’s on the coach

Change the coaches and we'll see better results.

We moved the player deck chairs a million times. Some may not be the "guys" but its not going to matter with Sullivan at the helm. This is all rinse and repeat until the head of the snake is cut off.

Well, use whoever sucks least is what I mean. Most bottom-sixers suck in this league.
The bar is very low right now for improvement.

Idk if they're not gonna try rotating guys in. That was a question I had in the off-season.
Sullivan likes to make no changes, but Dubas is obsessed with utilizing depth and AHL pieces. Now we'll see how much influence he has on things.
I would imagine that Dubas at least talks to Sully about calling guys up.

How DOC has a leash so long is mind boggling. The one youngish guy that they leave in the lineup and he just does nothing very good. I’ve never understood what anyone sees in him.
