Awful sequence from Tennyson. He has turned into a pumpkin. Murphy has played better than him.

It's small plays that lead to big plays. Before the icing, he and Hanifin were just playing catch and not moving it up the ice (no idea what the forwards were doing as the camera wasn't on them. On one play, it went to Hanifin's side and he skated for it, but I was thinking, "C'mon, you're faster than that," and then Hall gets there to keep the puck in, leading to the icing. I suspect he was tired so was beat to the puck, but it's those little battles that can make a big difference.

EDIT: Not defending Tennyson at all, just commenting about something that contributed to the icing.

That's the sequence I'm talking about.

Its all the more noticeable because when Slavin and Faulk (recently) are the ice they are very good at getting the puck out of the zone despite forechecking pressure.
