Game canceled on 4/20 due to Avs getting covid AGAIN

The situation is super frustrating for sure. Especially from our perspective. This whole season has been very frustrating for many reasons. The Blues and COVID just don't seem to mix. The team has been terrible since the pandemic hit. The contrast to their performance prior to the pandemic is pretty stunning. Tensions are high amongst our fanbase. Not a lot to be happy about these days in the world of Blues fandom.

I just don't think we can make the leap to it being some sort of conspiracy. That doesn't make a lot of sense.

I do feel like the league and refs do tend to give some teams slight (and mostly subconscious) preferential treatment, I just have a hard time believing the 2021 Avs fit into that category.

Here's a thing I hate... like let's say for example... there are 100 people at a Save the Whales rally or whatever... and one random nobody at the rally says "I think that we should save the whales by killing all fish!"

...and someone hears that and says "The people at the save the whales rally want to kill all fish, what a bunch of idiots!!!"

Yeah, no, they don't. One person said that, not the entire group.

Same things goes for ignorant fans from other fanbases who think that every Blues fans shares the opinions of one or two people in this thread. Like, get the **** outa here with that nonsense. The vast majority of people are expressing that they think these opinions are dumb.

If someone went on the Avs board (or ANY board anywhere) and cherry picked the opinions of a one or two of their goofiest posters and then ascribed those thoughts to the entire fanbase that person would be an ignorant doofus worthy of scorn.

Some people like to think they are superior so they pick the easiest argument to pick apart. It really speaks more about them than the argument selected. It’s all about making them feel better about themselves.
