During the golden years, it felt like we would have control of the puck for ages and outshoot teams 45-17 to lose 3-1. Nowadays, we can't even get 15 seconds of consistent offensive zone time every 5 minutes.

In the defensive zone they keep trying to poke the puck up the center when there is a scramble. They need to take control and take a stride. Your just giving it away. I'd rather them take the stride and try and deal with the 1 on 1 with the D on the point.
