I would seriously appreciate it if the MSG networks could issue a statement on why the Rangers are on two HD channels and the Devils on none. It makes no sense no matter how you spin it.

And whens the last time Volchie gave up a breakaway this season? I can't say anything about hating because I hated Pandolfo BADLY his last few years.

Who is he going to sit for? We need his physicality, his toughness, his fortitude, his PK abilities, etc.

Yes. There's 4 MSG channels, 3 have HD.

The Rangers have two HD channels. The Islanders have the other.

Normally all of the Devils home games are in HD, regardless of where the Islanders are playing.

Volch is "ok" from time to time but he isn't a key piece of our blueline. I'll give him credit where credit is due, he's a stud on the PK but outside of that, he's pretty average.

But that PK can save our ass. That's the thing. Him and Sal are beasts and have won games for us but never get credit because of gaffes that happen all over the league every night. No players are perfect.

I understand what you're trying to say but the PK is just a small portion of a 60 minute game. Just like the PP, the PK can make or brake you... I get that, but what I also get is that you need to be a force 5 on 5 cause that's roughly 85% of the entire game.

I don't care who get's moved between Tallinder and Volchenkov, as long as we add a solid forward or a solid pick. If Tallinder was moved, A-Train will still get his 15/17 minutes per game and vice-versa... wich is fine by me.

He's not terrible 5v5. However, if we can trade him for an upgrade up front, as a Devils fan I'm down with that.

Do Volch and Ballard have similar contracts?
