Not coming out of the gates guns blazing in the crucial first 3 games of the season. Would rather have him do that than be the guy who carries the team in the playoffs. He will never get his credit with the majority of this fanbase when he's arguably the 2nd best Habs player after Price in the past 2 decades.

Also been playing 20+min because all other centers have been sucking or has been injured last 3 years. Other teams are always sending the best on him since we don't have much on the other lines. He still manage to produce and shine. People underestimate Suzuki alot in here

Depends how long he's out. The whole point of Dach on the 1st line is to help him get his confidence back and then return him to center on the 2nd line. If it's tomorrow I'd probably say say Slaf to the 2nd but the longer Slaf is out and the more confidence Dach gets the more likely Slaf returns to the 1st and Dach is asked to be the guy on the 2nd line.
