Remember, this is akin to how 2011/2012 started, with Moreau and Trent Hunter mysteriously getting all sorts of ice time. I wouldn't worry....![]()
I'd like to add that there are so many holes, with the injuries, that I don't see the point in trying to fix any of them at this point.
I was fully on board with celebrating the 4OT wins because I wasn't sure it was going to last much longer.
Agree that the team has issues and it shouldn't be shocking to people and I'm confused by this thread. Kings don't have a regulation win. They can stay in games against bad teams and win in OT. Against good teams with depth/structure, their offense just disappears. They don't have the defense/goaltending to make up for lack of offense.
Buckle up because this ride might get a little bumpy.
On a side note: This is the type of season when you have to earn your fan card.
If I see Rob Scuderi penciled in tomorrow next to Drew Doughty then I think I'm going to stay home and watch the baseball game.

I won't even watch. Literally. That would piss me off.
I agree with that. Pointless. This is exactly what AHL depth and prospects are for, too.

The Kings have recalled Rob Scuderi from AHL-Ontario.
watches the ensuing ledge jumping that will ensue
This also sends a bad message to the players in Ontario. It doesn't matter what you do, veterans will always come before you. Imagine you're a young defensemen playing his butt of night in and night out and a guy who hasn't even shown up gets the call?

If they have such egos that they break down mentally over having to wait for their opportunity I don't want them on the Kings anyway. If they've truly mentally checked out, we should trade them for picks while we can fool other people for their value.
