I have a very bad feeling goaltending is going to be our achilles heel next season. I haven't been all too impressed with it this season

Seriously? Forwards **** up and give a wide open 3-2 and Hanifin gives up a 2-1 and we are saying pull Lack? How about stop giving up wide open, prime scoring chances?

That's not an excuse for the goalie to not do his job. See the Luongo save?

Oh come on. Yes, it's great when goalies can make a save like that and sure, a top notch goalie may have made a save on one of those two, but that's about all you can expect. Look where those guys shot and where they placed it. I couldn't care less if the Canes pull Lack and overall, I've been very disappointed in his performance so I don't think he's been good, but you guys are nuts blaming Lack for those two goals. Don't give up 3-2 and 2-1 with wide open point blank shots is the key.

Dobby's first year was better and his second year was about this level of inconsistent - leaning towards terrible

Yeah, because the sv% tells to story. C'mon Novacane, I though you were more reasonable than that. You don't think those goals were absolute breakdowns on the Canes front? I don't care if it's Ward, Lack, or anyone, they are giving up the worst sort of scoring chances. If you don't want to recognize that, well, I don't know what to say.

Like I said, I don't care if they pull Lack or whatever, but simply blaming the goalie on this 3-0 debacle is pretty silly.

Ok, You've got your narrative so I'll leave you to it. Even if he "comes up with 1 of them" it's still 2-0, so not sure what your point is.

EDIT: and I don't think Lack is a good goalie, I just think THIS game, the players in front of him are the problem.
