Yup, definitely no point in playing Bob tonight now. God forbid he gets injured in a meaningless game.

Meaningless? There is still the question of whether we play Boston, who is clearly the best team in hockey with tons of playoff success or Pittsburgh, who is clearly faltering down the stretch. Definitely not meaningless.

This is a weird thing to be stubborn about. This game isn't meaningless and you know it.

Our history against each team says otherwise. Haven't beaten Pittsburgh since 2011 and haven't beaten Boston since 2010. In fact, we've at least taken Boston to overtime 3 times since we last beat them. haven't done it once with the Pens. Perhaps we should be rooting to take on Boston. We seem to play better against them.

Far be it on me to accuse the guy with the Arniel avatar of living in the past, but you're living in the past.

Both teams present a hell of a challenge but I'll take the team with the goalie who's **** the bed the last 3 playoffs and doesn't seem to like physical play at all over the Presidents trophy winner that hasn't lost more than 2 games in a row all year.

Jenner is a pest to play against, we'll have Boller who's physical. We have beaten the Flyers at their own pest game. We just need to carry over our style vs Pittsburgh and not back down to their skill. We can beat them. Lets do it with a win tonight.

Porty getting a little testy on Twitter with Ray Ferraro

Aaron Portzline ‏@Aportzline 23m

So Fleury's in playoff mode, right?

Ray Ferraro ‏@rayferrarotsn 10m

@Aportzline easy to poke holes in Fleury, Aaron, as your team gets ready for its 5th playoff game in their history

Aaron Portzline ‏@Aportzline 2m

@rayferrarotsn My team? Paid observer. Didn't mean to pick on your guy, but his playoff woes are hard to ignore. That looked familiar.

Ray Ferraro ‏@rayferrarotsn 12s

@Aportzline I don't care who wins Aaron -- would be tough for me to care less actually, but find it amusing that U would rag him

If we're going to lose in the first round, which looks highly likely, I'll take the losses that don't result in ****ing Pittsburgh fans partying in our house. I've seen that movie already and it's been getting old.

We played that Presidents trophy winner pretty well this year, contrasted with the team that came to town a few weeks ago and was riddled with injuries to star players and we still couldn't manage more than 1 goal. But I suppose talking about a few weeks ago probably qualifies as "living in the past."

I stand by my comment, because I live in the past, now that Philly has won, split the game between the 2 goalies.

Start Bob & pull him part way through.

Ehh I'm not a fan of this, that's tempting fate. If the game is out of hand for us (or them) then fine, but we have GOT to clinch Pittsburgh

Boston or Pitts... Seems like a coin flip to me. If I had to pick my poison it'd be Pitt. So... WIN!

Like the man and the previous poster said, "Just win, baby."

I don't care who we play, to win the Cup we must play better than every team.

Tonight I want to see us crashing the net rather than making one too many passes.

Ahhh you poor thing ... besides I sort of blame you for their loss last night since you were at the game :yo: :vhappy:

There were a couple hundred CBJ fans there last night. It was a fun game. Which the defense and goaltending was better. Defense has been a problem all season though.

What a play by Calvert. Losing his stick, getting ti back while keeping the puck, getting it to Dubi, goal.
