Missing the best scorer on the team and the best puck moving defenseman was pretty big. I know that Ottawa was missing it's best d-man, but I still think Boston has a great chance in a series with Ottawa. Cassidy will be able to figure something out against those one-trick ponies and the Bs offense will be able to outscore that of Ottawa.

Win or lose yhat was the worst game I have seen in recent memory. It truly looked to me like the Bruins want to start the playoffs on the road.

I think management wants to avoid the Caps more then coach Cassidy or the B's.You could tell that Cassidy wasn't going all out ro win this game by the fact Bergeron and Chara weren't out there every 2nd shift. We will be fine with the addition of the kids and hopefully the return of Krug plus Marchand.

The senators are the most boring team in recent memory.

This will be me if I have to watch an entire series against the Sens.

Assuming the Leafs lose to Tampa here's how Saturday plays out

IF the Bruins Win Saturday they are guaranteed to be either A2 or A3

IF the Bruins lose in OT...Toronto would need to go 2-0-0 to drop the Bruins to WC2

IF the Bruins lose in regulation...Toronto would need to go 1-0-1 to drop the Bruins to WC2

odds are very much in favor of the Bruins finishing Top 3 in the Atlantic

They havent played like that all year. They were missing some key cogs as well and somply did what they needed to get a point. Bruins did nothing to stop it from happenning.

Disagree 100%...that is how Ottawa has played all year. Not sure if you have watched them yet before tonight but karlsson would not make this an exciting brand of hockey.....as good as he is

Makes total sense to go out there and beat Washington especially if they're not playing for anything. Would much rather see MTL/NY in round 2 than one of CBJ/PIT.

Ottawa has played this way all season, Boucher hockey, terrible to watch for the sport. Passive hockey will never win you a cup, I like our chances against these guys, just have to solve Anderson.

It's Guy Boucher's style. Choking suffocating boring trap clog the bury rap zone hockey. A Bruins vs. Sens series would be brutal to watch. What a boring bland brand of hockey the Sens play.

The NHL probability site, based on matchups and what have you, have the Capitals at 31.6% to win the cup. Bruins sit at a measly 2.8%... but Ottawa, despite clinching and likely having home advantage in at least the first round, are at .7%

Can't say I'm particularly impressed or hopeful regarding their ability to win 4 playoff series playing anti-hockey.
